The crucial component to any interior waterproofing system is the sump pump. If the sump pump does not function properly, flooding in the basement is inevitable. During the cold winter months, we need to be concerned about frozen discharge lines. If the line freezes or becomes blocked by the snow or ice, the sump pump will not be able to lower the water level in the pit, causing the pump to continuously run and burn out. As professional contractors, Nash Distribution can combat these issues with the Freeze Relief®. The Freeze Relief is an overflow device uniquely designed to allow water to exit from the sump pump discharge line in the event of a pipe freezing or other type of blockage. This device works automatically and requires no participation from the homeowner. Once the line thaws, the water will continue to flow along its normal course.
In addition to Freeze Relief®, we also have a 4” to 3” Reducer that is used to connect the Freeze Relief to a 3” pipe. Our 1 ½” Pipe Collar can also be installed where the discharge line exits the house to help achieve a cleaner look after installation. Homes without Freeze Relief are at major risk for flooding. This innovative discharge line protection is the most effective and easiest solution to prevent discharge line back-up and guard against flooding, even during the coldest of winters.

My waterproofing company uses all your sump pumps, especially the battery back up sumps in our waterproofing projects. Our clients are very happy with the results! I'll be recommending you to some other guys in my area.
